The rate of consumption of antibiotics in the Region of Murcia is ten higher than the national average and nearly nine points of the average of the European Union (EU), according to the conclusions of the doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Medicine University of Murcia by Diego Pablo Sanchez Martinez.
The study, which has been rated as outstanding cum laude, notes that health areas have the highest and lowest consumption are, respectively, Vega Alta and Cartagena.
The study, which analyzes the figures recorded in 2011, advises the other hand, improve the early identification of cardiovascular disease among women, since access of this to the appropriate therapeutic occurs with a delay that sometimes reaches five.
The doctoral thesis was supervised by professors from the University of Murcia Alberto Torres, Fernando Sanchez and Jose Ignacio Jesus Guillen.
