The University of Murcia, within the acts of its centenary, has launched a competition for the realization of a bust of the former rector of the institution José Loustau and Gomez de la Membrillera.

In the call, endowed with a prize of one thousand euros, you can participate anyone who is or has been a student at the University of Murcia.

The deadline for proposals will be open between 10:00 am on September 7 and 14:00 hours on the 11th of that month.

The bust, which will be installed in the cloister of the Merced campus will serve as a tribute to who directed this educational institution between 1918 and 1939.
