Eighty percent of medical students in Spain are in favor of donating organs for transplants, according to the conclusions of the doctoral thesis at the University of Murcia by Ana Isabel Lopez Lopez.
The findings of this research, which has been rated as outstanding cum laude, also note that among the psychosocial variables that determine an unfavorable attitude toward donation are males and be enrolled early in the race.

For the realization of the thesis, the author analyzed the responses of a population consisting of nearly 9,300 students from various faculties of Medicine, Spain.
80 percent of them were in favor of donation, while two percent said they were opposed and the remaining 18 per cent said they were undecided to this question.
