The University of Murcia held the awards ceremony of the VIII Olympiad Informatics Murcia for high school students and high school.

The first prize of introduction to programming was for Alberto Robles Enciso, IES Saavedra Fajardo (Murcia), while in programming robots to Danils Scetinins and Pedro Cutillas Dolera, IES Vega Thader (Molina de Segura).

As for the programming mode game, they were in first place Emilio Dominguez Sanchez, IES Juan Carlos I (Murcia) and Fernando Rodriguez Nicolas Bon, Concerted Learning Center Severo Ochoa (Garres, Murcia).

In the programming contest were classified first Olafur Ketill Gudrunarson and Eugenio Ruiz Vidal, the IES Juan Carlos I and Jaime Barnuevo Jimenez Herrero Miriam Olivares, Jesus Jimenez Montero and Adrian Martinez Soler, the IES Infanta Elena de Jumilla .

In the Olympics, organized by the Faculty of Informatics, University of Murcia, they involved 107 students from 17 secondary schools in the region.

The ceremony, held in the Faculty, was chaired by the Vice Chancellor for Students, Quality and Equality, Miguel Angel Perez, and the dean of the center, Pedro Miguel Ruiz.
