The dramatic character of Taranto and its close relationship with the mine and the life of the mining are two of the main drivers in the doctoral thesis at the University of Murcia Brao by Stephanie Martin, who has been busy studying flamenco dancing.
The findings of the study, which has been rated as outstanding cum laude, indicate that despite the relationship of the letters of Taranto with the mine, they sometimes also take care of other painful aspects of that or vital feelings human being.

Research is also responsible for establishing similarities and differences in professional and academic dances, depending on the length, arm movements, spins, footwork, punches, hip movements and other Taranto.
The thesis has shown the dramatic character, in general, this dance, although that note may change significantly in the final part.
The study, conducted at the Faculty of Sports Science at the University of Murcia, was led by Professor Arturo Diaz Suarez.
