The Social Council has launched the first prize for the best project of building a business based on a Final Degree or Master's Thesis in cooperation with the Chair of Entrepreneurship at the University of Murcia Work.
The Chairman of the Social Council, Javier Ruano, accompanied by the heads of the Chair of Entrepreneurship, Antonio Aragon and Samuel Bauxali, explained "that this action falls within the plan of action of the Social Council, among others, promoting entrepreneurship and complements the study and performed on entrepreneurial intent and cooperation agreement recently signed with Murcia Emprende to support new projects launched by the students of our university. The objectives of this award is to identify innovative ideas and creative business that can become the first step to be a successful business, linking formal education that offer undergraduate and master the business and its usefulness for wealth generation.
As guardians and students engage in the transfer of knowledge to improve the employability of students through the development of new initiatives and promote entrepreneurial culture and the creation and dissemination of entrepreneurship among students at the University of Murcia.
The projects competing for the prize must be made by a student at the University of Murcia, during the course 2014/2015 enrolled at the university.
Furthermore, they may decide to award all students, of any of the degrees of the University of Murcia, who have presented and approved its TFG or TFM during the course 2014/2015.
Regarding the content of the draft, the chairman of the Social Council Javier Ruano explained that "should bring together different parties such as the identification of the participant and his tutor, explicit justification for the link with the TFG or TFM and a business plan divided into : Ideas of business, competition, market, customers and market the product / service, product development and launch, Investment Plan, Finance and expected returns plus some milestones and timing of implementation.
