The University of Murcia has initiated the transfer of teaching and research in medicine and nursing at the departmental building on the campus of Health Sciences, in the village of El Palmar this month.
Such a transfer, which is being done gradually, including teachers and administrative staff and other health services qualifications that are now on the campus of Espinardo: Physiotherapy, Dentistry and Pharmacy.
The campus of Health Sciences, near the Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca, consolidate all health qualifications and facilitate the union of theory and experiment, progress in research and the synergy between health sciences areas.
The complex consists also of that department building (six floors of offices and seminars), a teaching pavilion, a building of laboratories for research (LAIB) and an animal facility to support research (CEIB).
The University of Murcia held at present the preparatory work of the works contract for the construction of classrooms (laboratories), which represent the culmination of the project.
