The University of Murcia hosts today and tomorrow the final meeting of the Erasmus Mundus EU projects and Move Mare Nostrum, of which the educational institution is the coordinating entity.
With funding from the European Commission, the EU Erasmus Mundus program has led to Mare Nostrum mobility between universities in Europe and Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria in all grade levels, master's, doctoral and post-doctoral, plus staff.
For its part, it has enabled Move mobility in education and training from Asia to Europe.
Both projects, which were launched in 2012, completed this summer.
The meeting, which takes place on the campus of Mercy with the presence of representatives of the various partner universities, was inaugurated this morning by the rector, Jose Orihuela, and the Vice Chancellor for Coordination and Internationalisation, Bernardo Cascales.
