Professor Carrion publishes a book on the floristic and vegetation change in the Iberian Peninsula (16/06/2015)

The factors that have conditioned and shaped the flora and vegetation of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands in the last 5 million years is the subject of a work that has been coordinated and edited by Professor of the University of Murcia José Sebastián Carrión.

The book analyzes the records of environmental change paleobotanists, including studies of fossil pollen and charcoal preserved macroscopic remains and other microfossils importance in the reconstruction of past ecosystems.

The publication, which is already available in electronic version, gathers all the information that was dispersed in an infinite number of scientific papers on paleofloras and paleoclimates Peninsula.
