Opinion polls of students at the University of Murcia have revealed that out of a maximum score of 5, granted nearly 4 average for the degree of satisfaction with the education they receive.
This is reflected in the report of the Commission on Quality of Faculty, based on the year 2013-2014, which was presented today to this body of university representation by the Secretary of the same, Professor Michael Motes.
Motes said that "it should be noted, on a global basis, the students are satisfied with the work of their teachers, because in a score of 1-5, the averages obtained in all grades exceeded the midpoint of 3, with the average for all assessments 3.91 ".
The analysis of the table that those values ​​are recorded indicates that the highest appreciation is the teachers who obtain degrees in the branches of Arts and Humanities and Health Sciences.
As for the rate of student performance, the results show an improvement in this indicator in all areas compared to previous courses, emphasizing that records the branch of Science and Engineering, whose growth exceeds 5 percent.
Although evolution is positive in all branches, Buttes added that "it should be noted that those with a higher rate of return is Health Sciences, followed by Arts and Humanities and Social and Legal Sciences".
In relation to the gender variable, the report notes that women get a better rate of return in all branches of knowledge, and arriving at 80.71, while the men are left in the 73.77.
Finally, the success rate, which is the percentage of credits earned by students enrolled in a degree in relation to the number of claims filed by the total number of students enrolled in the course, reached 87.98 percent, up 0.57 percent over the previous year.
