Ours is an independent candidacy municipalist, our goal is to develop policies to address the local and the near, and put in the center the welfare of people and the defense of the common good.
No we will not go into policies and strategies that keep us from this goal.
We are here to bring the City Council the voice of the citizens and the City Council to take to the streets.
Our desire is to represent as many neighbors who have not been heard so far.
Our obligation is to discuss issues affecting the social majority.
Talk of cuts basic rights of water and electricity cuts, hundreds of evicted families of the more than 130,000 people at risk of exclusion.
Talk about how our cultural heritage and our garden pillaged shatters.
We believe in a transparent, participatory, accountable Hall, where prevail the fight against corruption, citizens rescue and social policies.
We want to build a city and a just, sustainable, active town, integrating all groups, neighborhoods and districts where the public is heard and respected (such as underground pro-platform, home care workers, the association of irrigators and other social activists who are with us today inside and outside the classroom).
The balance of the Popular Party government in these 20 years is summarized in corruption, broken promises, failed projects and social inequality.
24M spent the majority of voters expressed a clear desire for change in municipal government.
It would have been desirable to generate an alternative to respond to citizen mandate but has not been a majority option that would enable the change.
One option that undoubtedly had supported.
Therefore, as a symbol of our firm belief in the need to regenerate the city of Murcia and as an expression of our opposition to the policies pursued by the PP, we present our candidacy for mayor.
We do it for accountability to over 18,000 people who have entrusted their vote in Murcia Now, aware that our role is in the opposition.
Since it will maintain our dialogue with all political forces to discuss programs and discuss each proposal, one by one, to put on the table only our commitment to fair policies and progress.
With these principles will work for four years to build a better city, presenting our proposals and alternatives from responsibility, honesty and commitment to citizenship.
