The University of Murcia, Caja Mediterráneo Foundation and the Miguel de Cervantes Virtual Library Foundation have signed a collaboration agreement for the convening of the twentieth edition of the novel award Vargas Llosa.
The text of the agreement, signed in the building of convalescence, home of the Rector of the University of Murcia, Caja Mediterráneo notes that the Foundation will pay the prize money, which rises to 12,000 euros.
The rules of the competition indicate that the deadline for receipt of originals will be on July 17, having to make delivery in the building of convalescence.
The collaboration agreement was signed by José Orihuela, rector of the University of Murcia;
Clemente Garcia, vice president of the Foundation Caja Mediterráneo and Lifante Manuel Bravo, managing director of the Miguel de Cervantes Virtual Library Foundation.
The signing ceremony was also attended by former president Jose Antonio Cobacho, the Vice Chancellor for Communication and Culture, José Antonio Gómez, and Professor of Literature at the University of Murcia Francisco Florit.
