The Department of Environment, headed by Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, has installed an information booth in the Plaza de Santo Domingo until June 5 to unveil the goal of municipal information campaign is to raise awareness about the importance Murcia protection of the environment, and the role of green spaces in urban environments.
The celebration of World Environment Day, promoted by UNESCO, is commemorated around the world since 1973, in honor of the first United Nations Conference on Environment of June 5, 1972 in Stockholm.
