The University of Murcia has published the call for direct study aids for students for the academic year 2014-2015 the educational institution.
The aids are intended to promote equal opportunities for access and development of higher education so that economic or social reasons do not prevent students continue their studies.
The requirements to qualify for them are exceptional personal circumstances or illness occurring to justify poor academic performance over the course 2013-2014 or suffered an objective and defensible family economic situation regarding the worsening accredited to the Ministry of Education in general Scholarships for the 2014-2015 year.
Applications may be submitted within a period ending on 19 June.
The total amount of these grants amounts to 135,000 euros, of which 100,000 are provided by the region and the remaining 35,000, the entire University of Murcia, through equity (17,000 euros) and contributions Social Council (10,000) , students of the Faculty of Arts (3000) and Cajamar (5000).
