The electorate has punished the numerous cases of corruption that have involved institutional representatives and the People's Party;

lack of internal transparency and governance and, above all, cutting measures against the majority and the rights of citizenship.

As for the Socialist Party, barely moving from the modest results of the previous legislature.

The socialist electorate in the municipality has bottomed out and is the most conservative part of the electorate which resists, but we know that their support is fragile and we are convinced that this legislature will expose the lack of conviction of members of the Socialist Party their own electoral project.

With regard to citizens, it certainly has achieved a very good result.

Now we want to see if all measures of democratic renewal and battle the Popular Party were only electoral promises or pose.

The five councilors obtained places you in a position of responsibility in the negotiations for the appointment of alcaldable;

In the case of Murcia's change, since 1995, that is, from when he started the monopoly of the government of the Popular Party in the region and the municipality, the United Left was not enough so well.

So were four councilors and now three, which certainly is a result worthy of congratulations.

At the same time, we must note that the results of IU in the elections in the municipality of Murcia were not comparable, as it has received the support of 8,000 voters compared with 18,000 municipal.

The question we ask is: has been camouflaging the acronym or the confusion created in the electorate the differentiating value?

On our side, we are clearly pleased, but not entirely satisfied.

Everyone should be clear that we have no hurry to occupy chairs, but they have much urgency to improve the lives of people.

Now Murcia is a long-term project, a project whose goal is not to serve as a crutch to anyone, but to win, rule and regain the City to return to his people, and that way is still to go.

We have mobilized a lot of people during the election campaign and on election day, something many did not expect.

Now once in institutions, we contact more people, helping to create a new form of social participation in the city, breaking the patronage networks in neighborhoods and districts, with the support of neighborhood associations, the social organizations and civil society organizations, and do so through the district and neighborhood boards, that Murcia will become a city of the XXI century, a friendly, open and fair city, as we are committed in our program electoral signed before a notary.

Returning to the present, the media and the political joke are echoing of the covenants, possible, future events and perhaps impossible.

We believe that we are not the designated start negotiations possible party into the election of the mayor.

Before us, we think that both the Socialist Party and Citizens must agree amongst themselves a position, and once the deal reached, contact with other political forces.

Our position on the negotiations is dialogue and openness, we are willing to listen to all voices, but we have some previous commitments, which are the same we have made during the election campaign:

Use all the means and municipal resources for cessation of evictions and eviction first home and to ensure alternative housing, including cancellation of relationships with financial institutions engaged first home evictions debtors in good faith.

Ensure basic supplies (electricity and water) to families in vulnerable situations, dealing with utility companies canceling outages.

Develop, together with social organizations, a plan against poverty and exclusion in the city of Murcia.

Implement a municipal employment program aimed at young people, long-term unemployed and other disadvantaged groups access to the labor market, seeking retraining.

Stop any privatization of public services, the outsourcing of municipal services to corporations and the sale of public assets.

Perform an external audit of the accounts of the City of the past four years, which allows to know the economic reality of the municipality and, especially, current debts and their origin.
