The 28th and May 29th will be held at the University of Murcia the Third Meeting of the Committee on Sociology of Work of the Spanish Federation of Sociology (FES), "The (dis) regulations work in the crisis."
This meeting will convene national and international experts, with the backdrop of the crisis, will share and discuss their research experiences, reflections and new approaches to the world of work, promoting analysis and debate on the various dimensions of the labor reality.
The conference will be held at the Faculty of Economics and Labour Sciences Campus of Espinardo and will have the assistance of prominent personalities of the Sociology of Labor and Industrial Relations.
Inaugurate the conference will be Juan Jose Castillo, Professor of Sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid, who from his long and successful career reflect on "the challenges of the sociology of work in times of crisis."
The second lecture will be given by invited Maria Pazos, head of Research Studies at the Institute of Fiscal Studies, with the title "Unequal by law. Public Policy Against Gender Equality" will reflect on the central role of political public in the persistence of gender inequality and the consequent need for structural changes in these policies.
