Llano de Brujas has offered tonight a massive tribute to his countryman Miguel Angel Lopez, one of its most beloved and admired neighbors, who on Sunday added another victory to his unstoppable career by winning the European Cup, qualifying for the Olympic Games Rio.
The celebration was held in the church square of the village and has been attended by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, the Councillor for Culture, Rafael Gomez, and Vice President of the Municipal Board, Angel Garcia.
It is not the first time the town of Llano de Brujas publicly expressed his affection for this athlete, who have offered warm welcome for their triumphs harvested in recent times, both in the London Olympics in the European Cup, and globally in Moscow.
Just over a year ago another intimate ceremony in which the plaque with the name that was given to Miguel Angel Lopez Nicholas garden, situated opposite the CEIP Juan Carlos I, in the street poet discovered Bautista Sanchez was held.
