Paloma Sobrado Calvo has today taken over as dean of the School of Optometry at the University of Murcia, for which he was elected after the recent elections in the middle.

The decanal team consists of teaching secretary Josefa Bastida Rodriguez and Aviles vicedecanos Marcelino Trigueros (Quality), Eloy Villegas Angel Ruiz (Mobility and Enterprise) and Pedro Maria Prieto Corrales (Academic Planning).

Paloma Sobrado, who is Professor of Ophthalmology, previously played the roles of curator dean of this faculty.

The event, held in the hall of degrees of the Faculty, was chaired by the rector, Jose Orihuela, and the general secretary, Santiago Alvarez.
