Segura River Municipal Library (Artillery Barracks - Barrio del Carmen) is 10 years old and to celebrate it has organized an extensive program of free activities for all ages.
Exhibition, concerts, recitals, meetings of clubs, selfies contest, film forum, workshops and panel discussions on literature and painting are some of the proposals that will combine several arts and convert the library into a meeting and coexistence.
The activities begin tomorrow, May 20, at 19 am, with the inauguration by the Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Sanchez of the exhibition 'Byblos' in Murcia ten painters exhibit a picture related books, library or reading.
The participating artists are: Carmen Cantabella, Eva Poyato, Nono García, Salvador Torres, Ina Mindiuz, Pepe Montijo, Carlos Pardo, Katarzyna Rogowicz, Antonio Tapia and Torregar.
It will be open until June 30.
To mark the birthday, it has organized a contest of librarians selfies consisting of self-portraits that users are made to the library whenever you leave any identifying element.
