The Health Center Cabezo de Torres, at the request of the residents of the hamlet, has been called "Doctor Ricardo Robles", section chief of Surgery at the Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca, for his long career devoted to public health in the Region of Murcia and its link to the hamlet.
During his youth, Robles lived in Cabezo de Torres, where he studied at the Salesian College.
Ricardo Robles Campos is Professor of Surgery, member of the Transplant Unit headed by Professor Parrilla, National Coordinator hepatobiliopancreatic Section of Surgery and Chief of Medical Services of the Plaza de Toros de Murcia.
In a ceremony attended by the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Angel House, the president of the Municipal Board of Cabezo de Torres, Juan José Muñoz and council Christopher Smith and Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, with the head of surgery at the Hospital Virgen Arrixaca, Pascual Parrilla, the honoree was handed a plate that looks reproducing the Health Center and a scroll collecting acurdo of the neighborhood council.
The residents of Cabezo de Torres wanted to pay tribute to the figure, a native of Churra eminent surgeon "but also of Cabezo de Torres, where I spent some of the most endearing years of my life," said the honoree, who also serves as Chief of Medical Services of the Plaza de Toros de Murcia.
Pilgrimage group of the Burial of the Sardine of Murcia elected Dr. Ricardo Robles Campos as Honorary Cabezudo 2014.
