One of the "100 best ideas" last year in Spain in 2014 was the cluster of Environment and Renewable Energy of Murcia.
This was distinguished Económica magazine, which this XXIII edition had the project initiated by the city of Murcia and Ferrovial Servicios in central waste treatment Cañada Hermosa.
The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, accompanied by the area councilor, José Ros, and the CEO of Ferrovial Servicios, Ignacio Gaston, has collected this morning the award, with which stressed the CI in the category of "Sustainable Ideas".
The City created the first cluster of Environment and Renewable Energy in Europe in order to bring together in the same space companies related to environmental quality, energy efficiency research and development and innovation in the field of treatment and recovery waste.
Thus, the treatment center that the City has in Cañada Hermosa has made Murcia an international benchmark and model who performs management of waste, both from its recovery as the number of different treatments that are practiced waste generated in the municipality.
