The Department of Education of the City of Murcia advantage of the summer to carry out works of improvement, repair and maintenance in twenty public schools in the municipality vacation.

The Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Sanchez, has already begun a round of meetings with school directors, AMPAS and municipal board members so that everyone knows the work to be performed and the timetable for implementation.

The mayor has emphasized that "the objective of the City is betting on quality education facilities and working in the maintenance, improvement, repair and expansion of public schools not only great works during the holidays, but every day of the year solving the issues that arise. "

The work consists of repairing fences, interior painting, exterior painting and painting locksmith, repair walls, replacing boxes, replacement of tiles, replacement of metalwork and wood, replacement of slip bands in soil, timely replacement of network sanitation and cold water, work yards, repair steps, cleaning and replacement roofing tiles, cleaning the sewage system, replacement and repair of leaking tanks, among many other things.

In addition, toilets will be built in buildings of Education and finger guard doors protections will be installed in four schools;

fireplaces and protections are placed in 15 schools in Murcia and districts.

Total investment is about 494,000 euros

Schools that are under construction are: CEIP Francisco Sanchez Matas (Aljucer), CEIP Pedro Martinez Chacas (boatmen), CEIP Barriomar 74, CEIP Pedro Perez Abbey (Espinardo), CEIP Virgen de Guadalupe (Guadalupe), CEIP River Segura (Javalí New ), CEIP Arboleja, CEIP Our Lady of the Incarnation (La Raya), CEIP Professor Enrique Tierno (Lobosillo), CEIP Antonio Diaz (The Garres), CEIP Virgen de las Maravillas (Los Martínez del Puerto), CEIP San Andrés, CEIP Federico de Arce, CEIP Nuestra Señora de Cortes (Nonduermas), CEIP Pintor Pedro Flores (Bacons Bridge), CEIP Christ of Termination (Santa Cruz), CEIP Bas Arteaga (Sucina), CEIP Cristo del Valle (Torreagüerra), CEIP Our Lady Candelaria (Valladolises) and CEIP San Felix (Zarandona).
