All municipal museum Ramon Gaya, Almudí, Mills River, City Museum, Museum of Science and Bethlehem House have scheduled special events to commemorate this date and publicize the intense activity carried Murcia museums daily .
More than 40 activities frame the Museum Night 2015 organized by the municipality of Murcia around this event that s ecelebra Saturday 16.
On the occasion of this celebration, highlighted the parade to be held in Bacons Bridge and exposure Martinez Mengual, opening Almudí Palace to see the two exhibitions, ten different activities of the Museum Ramon Gaya, theater and informative lectures at the Museum Science, concerts and film in Los Molinos del Rio, as well as in the municipal cento Puertas de Castilla.
It notes that the City Museum has presented its candidature for the election of the official mascot of the European Night of Museums organized from the French Ministry of Culture.
The proposal builds on an idea based on the comic by cartoonist Murcia Manuel Martinez on the Lion of the Malecon.
Night of the Museums was born in Berlin in 1997 as a cultural event organized jointly with several museums and cultural institutions open late night establishments.
The event aims to introduce new people to the cultural institutions and promote the cultural life of cities in a different time format and to reach all audiences.
