The Department of Sports and Social Welfare, in collaboration with 'Vive la suerte' Orenes and the Athletics Federation of Murcia group, organized the first popular race to benefit Asteamur (Association for People with ASD Region of Murcia).
The race takes place on Sunday May 10 with absolute careers, from 9:30 am, and children's races, at 11:30 hours, starting and finishing in Ronda de Garay Avenue, facing Red Cross.
Adult careers will have a distance of 5 km for those born between 1998 and 2002 and for 10 kilometers before 1997, counting the latter with two laps of 5 km route.
The children's races in turn will have 700 meters for those born between 2004 and 2007 and 150 meters for children beyond 2008.
All participants will receive a T-shirt and a bag runner.
In addition, members of the children's races will receive a medal and trophies for the top three finishers in each of the categories, both male and female form was delivered.
According to forecasts, about fifteen hundred people that will participate in the race.
Today is the last day to register.
The inscriptions both children and adults will be made through the website of the Athletics Federation of Murcia in www.famu.es a registration fee of 8 euros for absolute and free categories for children's races.
The ridges may be collected presenting the ID card on Saturday, May 9, 10:00 to 22:00 hours in Room located in Joker Street Apostles 34 in the old Calle Correos beside the Hotel Rincon de Pepe and the same Sunday May 10 to 1 hour before the start of racing in the starting area opposite the hospital of the Red Cross in Murcia.
The same day, at 12:30 pm, coinciding with the end of the race, a children's show will be performed by 'The Gang Drilo' against Red Cross Hospital.

Proceeds from the race will go entirely to Asteamur, an association of parents of children with autism spectrum disorder Murcia non-profit organization whose aim is to intervene with children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with the disorder since the spring of 2011, taking their families and intervene therapeutically to improve their quality of life.
Additional services include educational intervention in schools, workshops leisure and respite care and parent education and child care.
