Conference at the University of Murcia discuss the new challenges of education (06/05/2015)

The transmedia literacy, theater education or critical pedagogies and advertising speeches will be among the topics to be discussed at the First Conference "New spaces for literacy and multiple intelligences", organized by the University of Murcia on 7 and 8 May in the General Classroom Building Espinardo campus.

At this meeting, teachers from various universities and professionals from different areas will reflect on the literacies needed in a world characterized by the multiplicity of formats, communication channels, genres and discourses.

Among the speakers who will participate in lectures, panels and audiovisual presentations scheduled include teachers Antoni Badia (Open University of Catalonia), Joan Ferrés i Prats (Pompeu Fabra University), Maria Pinto (Universidad de Granada) and Juan Manuel Escudero ( University of Murcia).

The conference, which are jointly organized by teachers of the faculties of Communication and Information and Education, will be opened at 10:00 hours, the Vice Chancellor for Education and Innovation, Pedro Miralles (auditorium of the Faculty of Mathematics).

Admission is free until all seats.
