The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia has issued a statement after holding a meeting of Faculty in which it is stated that the performance of the Murcia Health Service (SMS) regarding the student practice "poses a serious commitment to teaching. "
This university adds that the SMS, "to try to force the incorporation of students from the UCAM when the University of Murcia are still performing their teaching practices committed".
The statement says that the situation experienced in two hospitals in Murcia when two service chiefs opposed the practices of private university students "would not have occurred if the SMS had followed its own protocol, which establishes the priority of students Public University of Murcia ".
The Faculty concludes by showing his hope that the situation can be resolved at a meeting of the Joint Committee, which, he says, the educational institution "has been demanding since the beginning of the course."
