Blue in Action, the NGO of the local police in Murcia, and the Vista Clinic Ircovisión have launched the campaign "Give your old glasses new life 'in order to collect used eyeglasses to destine them to the countries with which made cooperation projects.
Blue in Action and Vision Clinic Ircovisión have signed a collaboration agreement to distribute to pharmacies and optical collection points for old glasses.
Those who wish can donate their glasses and have the option to leave their contact details to receive on their mobile phone a picture of the person they have given their glasses.
'Give your old glasses new life' it is a national campaign to be held in different cities, by signing agreements with Vista Group clinics.
Murcia is the first city where it gets this initiative.
Blue NGOs in Action is responsible for distributing free glasses collected from people who need them, especially in the framework of cooperation projects in developing countries of the third sector.
Moreover, Ircovisión Vista Clinic and other clinics Vista Group will ensure that the glasses are delivered in perfect condition and classified by donating each a sum of money to help with transportation and distribution in areas where campaigns are conducted.
