The University of Murcia will offer next year a total of 6,452 places for students who join the institution, which is twenty more than in the current year, as approved at the meeting of the Governing Council held today in the building convalescence.
The Vice Chancellor for Teaching Planning, José Manuel Mira, highlighted by presenting the number of places the generosity of the centers, which have made an effort to increase the number of them and try to meet the demand of society.
During the meeting, the rector, Jose Orihuela, has exposed the main activities in recent weeks by the team that presides, including those for the centennial of the University and those related to the multi-year funding.
On the latter he said that "this is a negotiating document" waiting with the approval of the Autonomous Community, adding that the figures are collected in the same "are very realistic."
At today's meeting they have incorporated new deans of Optics and Sports Science, Paloma Sobrado and Arturo days, respectively, and the director of the Nursing School of Cartagena, Manuel Aviles.
