The nature and animal park Terra Natura Murcia has already received one of three copies of Baringo giraffe (Giraffa camaleopardalis rothschildi), which had to come to your facility to form a group of the species.
The action is part of the European conservation program that promotes giraffes to European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA).

For this operation it has been necessary to use a special truck to transport the animal, which is 5.5 meters high and weighs about 1,100 kilos.
The vehicle is prepared for the transport of such animals, and has surveillance cameras, which allowed visualize the animal during the journey.

Those responsible for the complex are now waiting to receive the other two giraffes, Bakari and Albert, from the zoo Leper (Belgium).
Both animals have four to five meters high.
The three giraffes belong to the subspecies is more threatened of the nine giraffe subspecies that exist in the world.
With the arrival of these last two examples, the complex will have a group of four giraffes in total.
The park started preparations to join the European program of conservation of this species in 2014 and has now completed the process with the reception of the first animal.
