UPyD candidate for President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Professor César Nebot, expressed his "total commitment" to demand more resources raised by the team rector of the University of Murcia.
Nebot has made these statements during the meeting held in the company of Councillor of the party in the city of Murcia, Rubén Serna, with the rector of the educational institution, José Orihuela.
At the meeting, along with the vice-chancellors Orihuela José María Abellán and Jose Angel Lopez, they presented the financial plan developed by the University of Murcia and covers the five years from 2016 to 2020.
In his presentation, Orihuela said the project includes the budget should tell the university during that period to reach the national average per pupil funding, currently well below it.
The president also noted that the University is also committed to the objectives outlined in the plan, since it is expected that part of the funding is conditional on the achievement of results.
In this round of contacts that the governing team remains in recent days with candidates from different political formations, tomorrow will be held with the planned candidate for President of the Autonomous Community by the PP, Pedro Antonio Sanchez.
