The Diocese of Cartagena adds to the initiative of the Sentinels of the Morning, a project that arises after the call made by the Pope John Paul II in 2000 to Millennials to awaken the church and bring the light the Gospel to everyone.
The priest begins in Verona Andrea Brugnoli and today is made in different dioceses in Italy, France and Spain.
The first and best known of the Sentinels of the Morning activity is "A Light in the Night", which consists of an evening of education and evangelization in which young people take to the streets to witness to their faith and proclaim Christ.
While some sentinels remain in a church praying, others come to invite the encounter with Jesus that night.
"A Light in the Night" will take place on May 9 in the church of La Merced de Murcia.
All youth interested in participating will have to fill out a contact form in the website of the Delegation of Youth Ministry.
