This is a production of the Integra Foundation, made with the latest technology, with which the Community will promote the candidacy as Intangible Heritage of all traditions that take place on Good Friday in the city of Murcia, and culminating in the procession of the Salzillos.
The Integra Foundation, attached to the Directorate General for Research, Innovation and Information Society, has worked for a year in this production, which lasts about two hours and consists of 12 chapters about ten minutes each.
In this way, the audiovisual monographic shows the different aspects of traditional Good Friday in Murcia, under the headings: 'The Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesus';
'Ancestral Sounds';
'The Parachute Brigade';
'Days of illusion';
'The Palm';
'The clothes rack';
'The stewards';
'The penitents';
'Racks';
and 'The Procession'.
To carry out the documentary that presented today at the Salzillo Museum, the Integra Foundation hired a team of business professionals in the Region of Murcia, who have used the latest technology (cranes, drones, 4K cameras, ... ) to record over 80 hours of audiovisual resources, such as interviews, processions, preparedness and family scenes, among others.
In addition, the series features an original soundtrack work of Murcia Pedro Contreras, who plays the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia.
Activity program
The Murcia Regional Film Library will host the screening of 'The morning of Salzillo' in three passes that will be held on 23, 24 and April 30, at 20:00.
Attendance at the first of the screenings will be held by invitation of the Brotherhood itself, while the entrance to the other two countries will be free until all places.
Are also scheduled other events to promote 'The morning of Salzillo' which includes round tables in the Church of Jesus, with free entry on the 'Penitents, shelves, butlers and waiters' (May 8)' The brotherhood and traditions' (May 22) and 'The Procession' (June 12).
The program will culminate with a concert of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia in the Romea Theatre (June 23), also with free entry to fill seats where the audience was presented with a DVD of audiovisual touting 'The Morning Salzillo '.
First steps towards the declaration of Unesco
'The Morning Salzillo' which is the name given to the set of traditions that star in this documentary series, and has been declared of Cultural Interest (BIC) of immaterial since last March 27, after being approved by the Council Government.
The statement as BIC was a need to qualify for Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Unesco step was justified by the artistic quality of the sculpture, architectural framework that permanently exposed sculptures and Church of Jesus also intangible aspects such as the songs of the bells of the Aurora (already declared BIC immaterial) and opening the doors of the Church of Jesus at six o'clock to output the procession.

The audiovisual production 'Salzillo Morning' is part of the initiatives of Murcia Digital, which aim to stimulate the Information Society through the creation of new digital content on a regional basis for subsequent dissemination through the website reg murcia .com.
It is a platform developed by the Integra Foundation and is funded by ERDF funds.
This thematic portal, which offers a wealth of information related to the Region of Murcia, received over 1.7 million visits last year.
Its more than 40,000 content include numerous audiovisual productions that disseminate cultural and natural heritage of the region.
To date there have been 19 major documentaries, 3 series and 200 audiovisual.
