Murcia celebrated on April 26 the Fourth Race Solidarity 'Run For Parkinson's', which has the support of the City of Murcia and numerous organizations and companies to make this event possible.
The campaign "Run for Parkinson" is an action of social information and solidarity with the millions of people suffering from Parkinson's disease worldwide.
It is also an act of civic participation and an opportunity to attract new partners for organizations involved in the campaign, which aims to improve the quality of care for those affected and support research.
The first race of its kind held in Murcia was organized in 2012, involving 400 people, an amount that has multiplied in successive editions up to 1350 people in 2014.
Beginning at 10 am, at the start and finish located at the front door of the English Court of Avenida de la Libertad exhibitors of the collaborating institutions will be installed: physiotherapists Clinics Fision and information about Metropolitan, Travel à la carte White Turiocio, plus Parkinson associations of the Region of Murcia and puestoespecial for Tufted Solidarity for those wishing to work with a haircut.
To enliven the atmosphere there will be live music and accompanying participants will Sound & Lighting S & j.
To heat the participants is planned exhibitions Zumbacombat Zumba and live by the Metropolitan Club, as well as live performance of Xandro Leima.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded by the sponsors and authorities.
The event organizers considered that to Run for Parkinson's Spain was time to get involved in helping to fund research that is done in our country.
Through Coppadis project provides an opportunity to actively participate in supporting the efforts of our researchers a better understanding of Parkinson's disease and improve treatment and quality of life of people.
