The Catholic University San Antonio de Murcia will be next Friday and Saturday 17 and April 18, the seat in Murcia in the 3rd edition of HackForGood, an initiative to be held simultaneously in Valencia, Madrid, Seville, Malaga, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Salamanca, Valladolid and Vigo.
It will involve hundreds of people coming together to develop ideas, services or technology applications that help solve social problems related smarts cities, smart society or internet of things.
In addition, you can also propose other related to culture and tourism challenges;
trade, urban mobility, collaborative economics, or energy and emissions.
Applications can be developed individually or in a group, valuing the formation of multidisciplinary teams that include all profiles required for the development of services and applications (technicians, designers, computer scientists, sociologists, engineers, psychologists, social entrepreneurs and people from the field social).
The initiative is promoted by Telefónica, the School of Telecommunications at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, the Hazloposible Foundation and the MashmeTV startup with the support of the Network of Telefónica Chairs, which will reward the teams that develop the best technological applications in the field of Smart Cities and Smart Societies.
