429 ethnic minority children benefit from aid to support the school (09/04/2015)

429 children from ethnic minorities of 86 schools in the municipality received a grant from the City Council to support the school.

The Department of Social Welfare, in order to facilitate full educational integration of children from ethnic minorities makes a series of complementary actions which guarantee coverage of the most basic of minors, as food needs, and the means of access to equal basis with other children.

The Centers of Social Services made proposals minors require this particular support, based on knowledge of the families of origin, acting as a measure to strengthen the intervention them is performed, ensuring at all times improving the lives of children.

For this, the City will invest 187,000 euros in order to meet these needs in this course 2014-2015
