The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, Arm Reina de la Huerta, Maria Lopez, opened the procession representing the City that, starting from La Glorieta, reached the doors of the Cathedral for the traditional floral offering to the Virgin of Fuensanta, Patroness of the City.
Ahead of them paraded Bridesmaids queens, and the president of the Federation of Peñas vegetable garden, Antonio Aviles, who gave his arm to the Child Queen, María García.
Several councilors of the Corporation have joined the offering, including the head of Culture, Rafael Gomez, plus María del Carmen Pelegrin, Joaquín Moya-Angeler, Manuel Durán, Alicia Barquero, Lola Sanchez, Juan Antonio Bernabe, Rebeca Perez Cosme Ruiz, among others.
Preceding them all, the representatives of the vegetable garden clubs began the procession.
Starting from the front of City Hall, they all walked the short distance that separates them from the Cathedral to express the fervor and love for the patron, following the footsteps of thousands of Murcia that all afternoon surrendered a popular tribute to the Virgin of Fuensanta.
