The Department of Traffic and Transport has already completed work to improve road safety in Umbrete Street and Avenida Juan Carlos I.
Thus, it has enabled a step semaforizado pedestrians on the Avenida Juan Carlos I, opposite the Carrefour shopping center, as the two that existed were at a distance of 425 meters.
It has also relocated a pedestrian crossing the Plaza de Castilla Calle Umbrete to increase accumulation space vehicles that enhance pedestrian safety by increasing the residence time and visibility, regulating Umbrete Street exit.
We are currently working on the adaptation of another crosswalk at Bacons Bridge Road.
In April will begin work to install signalized pedestrian steps in Mariano Rojas Avenue and Avenue of Medicine and street Pío Baroja Calle Monte Carmelo
These works, which are being implemented by Murtrafic, involve an investment of 167,817 euros.
