Murcia add to 'Earth Hour'.
The City off the light outside the Cathedral and the facades of City Hall, Episcopal Palace and the Church of Carmen, Santo Domingo, San Juan de Dios and Las Claras, El Cristo de Monteagudo and Old Bridge.
Earth Hour aims turn off lights in public and private buildings from 20:30 hours (local time) until 21:30 pm as a symbol to raise public awareness about the need to take action on climate change, emissions and rational use of energy.
This action is organized by WWF and was born in Sydney in 2007 and has since achieved the participation of more than 7,000 cities in 160 countries, thousands of businesses, schools and organizations that join this initiative to demonstrate that a future based on the clean energy is possible.
