The UCAM, through its Degree in Criminology, has organized the "First National Congress of care for victims of domestic violence 'to be held on the campus of Los Jeronimos from next Monday 23 to Wednesday 25.
Experts of all kinds share with college their different views on combating this social scourge during the development of several conferences and round tables, which will focus on gender violence in adolescence, risk factors, causes of abuse and discrimination, resources for the protection of women, legislation, etc.
These lectures include those offered Antonio Andrés Pueyo, professor of psychology at the University of Barcelona;
Javier Baturone, team leader Service to Women's Police Headquarters of Murcia;
Cristina Garcia, head of the Coordination Unit Against Violence on Women in the Government Office;
Nuria Fuentes, Councillor for Safety and Human Resources of the City of Murcia;
Ignacio del Olmo, head of the local police station in Cartagena;
Jerónimo Tristante, writer;
and Veronica Lopez, Director General of Social Policy of the Ministry of Health and Social Policy;
among others.
The rector of the Catholic University of Murcia, Josefina Garcia, the government delegate in the Region of Murcia;
Joaquín Bascuñana and the Minister of Health, Catalina Lorenzo inaugurate this conference on Monday at 17: 00h.
