The University of Murcia has signed a collaboration agreement with society Chuecos Castle, owner of the estate of the same name located in the Sierra de Almenara, in the town of Aguilas.
Francisco Robledano, Professor, Department of Ecology and Hydrology at the University and promoter of the convention, said during the signing that under it, will be carried out research, training and awareness and sustainable use in an area of ​​great value environmental.
During the event, held in the building of the Rectory, Domingo Jiménez Beltrán, founder partner, said the agreement contacted knowledge, which provides the University with biodiversity and ecosystem of the farm.
The rector, José Orihuela, closed the ceremony by praising "the push and awareness" of the faculty of the Department of Ecology and Hydrology, whose director, Miguel Angel Esteve, was present at the signing.
