The Federation of Peñas vegetable garden today celebrated the traditional Day of Coexistence, an event that serves farewell to the Queen Mayor and Child 2014, Andrea and Andrea Belmonte Carmona, respectively, and their 14 bridesmaids.
The event takes place one day before receiving the candidates this year -prevista tomorrow afternoon ne the Romea- Theatre and the election next Saturday.
As usual, the day of living has been developed at the headquarters of the federation and, once again, has been attended by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, accompanied by Council Rafael Gomez, Isabel Martinez Conesa, Manuel Durán, Javier Iniesta, Lola Sánchez, José Arce and Alicia Barquero.
The event, which brought together nearly 2,000 people, has been paying tribute to those who have been Queen of the largest and child Huerta 2014 and in the course of it has been time to hear his words of farewell and thank them both and their damas- addition to an extensive exchange of gifts.
The Mayor has used his speech to note that both Andrea and Andrea Carmona Belmonte have been "the best ambassadors of Murcia wherever they have gone."
House has "thank you very much for what you do" to vegetable garden clubs and their federation, headed by Antonio Aviles, while assured that "will always be able to count on the City Council to support your work."
