The Bishop of Cartagena, Mons. José Manuel Lorca Planes, yesterday presided over the opening Mass of the popular mission in the parish of Our Lady of Peace of Murcia, beginning two weeks of grace to proclaim the Gospel.
At the beginning of the celebration, the pastor of Peace, D. Pedro Juan Martinez, thanked the bishop: "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord".
Mons. Lorca Planes invited those present to live intensely this mission time to reflect and rethink the faith, to open our hearts because "only God can get us out of our sorrows".
The bishop invited them to go out in search of neighbors to share the message that every day is received in the Eucharist.
"It's about providing the best gift we have received, to know God.
So that everyone can say thank you Lord because I now understand many things, because I know are with me;
you are great because sales to meet me without asking anything. "
Mons. Lorca said that all Diocesan Church pray for the fruits of this popular mission, and in a special way the contemplative monasteries.
"I want glad that through your testimony remote to listen to God."
During these fifteen days, every morning exposition of the Blessed, Lauds will take place and will visit the sick of the parish.
And in the evenings different meditations will be held and domestic celebrations will take place.
The bishop instructed the fruits of this popular mission to Our Lady of Peace.
