The neighbors of Carmen want the tram reaches its neighborhood.
This is one of the conclusions drawn from a survey of residents and businesses in the area over the desirability of extending Line 1.

Young people, 15 to 29, is best appreciated the tramway, followed by the age group of 40-49 years.
38.2% believe that the tram would offer greater communication and mobility to the municipality and better access to Carmen neighborhood, 13.1% said the convenience of this transport, while 7.5% believe that would be a attracting more people and customers to businesses in the neighborhood.
There are also neighbors who have said that when in operation this extension will use the tram to work and stressed that it is a good option to connect the town with the railway station.
Others have indicated that greatly reduce the movement of vehicles, thereby allowing a greater number of free parking places and which is a rapid means of obtaining the bus transport, while an aesthetic improvement of the walking areas.
Of all respondents, 77.6% said they know who is planning to extend the tram line to the neighborhood of Carmen, while 44.8% say they know the itinerary planned arrival of this transport.
This survey, conducted by consultants CSA, was held late last month of January between 411 neighborhood residents del Carmen of which 107 are traders.
