The rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, today defended during the opening of the Second National Congress of Young Art Historians, the importance of the branch of Humanities and the role of youth in it.
The President of the Autonomous Community, Alberto Garre, presided over the inaugural event, held at the Monumental San Juan de Dios, a conference bringing together until Friday to more than 200 experts to discuss art in Europe and America during the eighteenth century.
The meeting, organized by the University of Murcia and said Monumental and sponsored by the Foundation Cajamurcia set, serve to honor the professor Cristóbal Belda for their retirement.
