The Gourmet Club Murcia last night gave her IX Award to Mursiya Mezze Restaurant Horizonte, located in the hamlet of Murcia La Nora.
The ceremony took place during a gala dinner held in the same establishment, the top valued by Club members during 2014.
Murcia Gourmet was born in 2005 and has since promoted cuisine and chefs of the Region of Murcia.
The Club each month moves to a different restaurant in the Region of Murcia and assesses different aspects, such as the presentation of the dish, the product, the complexity of cooking and wine pairing, among others.
In the photo, members of the Board of Murcia Gourmet pose with Joaquín Alcaina, owner of Restaurant Horizonte, and honorary member of Murcia Gourmet food critic and Ismael Galiana.
With them is also chef Raymond Gonzalez Frutos, whom the club wanted to recognize his contribution to the kitchen and Murcia be located in the national and international gastronomic map.
The gala dinner was attended by the Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Murcia, Rafael Gomez, who also sits on the family photo.
