Jaime García-Legaz has analyzed this morning in the UCAM the internationalization of Spanish companies
The Temple of the Monastery of Jeronimos has welcomed this morning's conference Secretary of State for Trade, Jaime García-Legaz, who has lectured on the internationalization of the Spanish company.
This is the third day of the lecture series "The University and the New Economy" organized by the Technological Institute of Murcia, belonging to the UCAM, and framed by the International Chair 'new venture'
García-Legaz recalled that the Region of Murcia is the leader in Spain in export growth, indicating "that goes well advanced in this field."
On internationalization in the region, Secretary of State for Trade has indicated that there are still many small business and cooperative, "and that does not help";
and assured that "the most important challenge facing the Region of Murcia is to give the company's size, and that probably requires joining forces in some productive sectors where there is still too much fragmentation".
World trade
Jaime García-Legaz, Spanish companies have already convinced that the market "is no longer either the region or even Spain, not Europe but the world," and that requires new markets and move freely by them or change profiles of professionals enterprise "and that is the future," he realized.
Furthermore, he assured that those companies that have understood that this is the way, is doing very well;
"And we want to be many more who understand that they have to form their business strategy and become international companies."
Undertake
The president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, who shall submit to Jaime García-Legaz, stressed the important role being developed by the Technological Institute of Murcia;
and made reference to 'Industrial Doctoral Program' which launched the Murcia institution whose main objective is to promote innovation in SMEs incorporating qualified personnel in the field of research.
