Murcia IU-Greens agreed on a municipal Assembly of the organization held yesterday to participate in citizen's change Murcia platform with intent to submit an application for citizen unit for the upcoming municipal elections.
This decision was taken by 59.6% of the vote and assumed endorse the legal formula proposed for it.
IU-Green noted that Murcia's change "is the starting point for further work in the process of convergence and advance a project to transform the town".
The coordinator of IU-Greens in the municipality of Murcia, Francisco Muñoz, said that although he would have liked to endow the political forces present in the platform greater visibility to facilitate understanding of the project by citizenship, integration IU-Green is positive, as the "solvency" of the work developed in recent years by the organization will help to build a "solid" project "does not begin and end" on May 25, but has to be extended in the time.
Muñoz has highlighted the Murcia's change process as open to participation space that can unite all the political and social spaces of the town have been fighting together in the streets.
"Convergence is in the DNA of IU-Greens, as we have shown in this process, and our goal is to do our bit to transform the town and meet the needs of citizens", has argued Muñoz, who has indicated further which expects the generosity of the various organizations involved in Murcia's change "is also extended to the regional level where so required is a project of unity".
