Proper implementation of the Law on Transparency in universities was the subject matter of days COSEG general secretaries held at the University of La Rioja.
The sessions, which were attended by the Secretary and Deputy Secretary General of the University of Murcia, Santiago Alvarez and Maria Carmen López, focused on the legal and political philosophical examination of this standard as well as in the analysis of transparency in the Web of Spanish universities.
Throughout the lectures and panel discussions, relevant information is explained that universities should make visible, but also discussed about the challenges and questions posed by the Act, as the limit of the protection of personal data to the obligation information or budgetary issues to implement the access procedure.
The conference also addressed eGovernment, stuff that leadership exercised by the University of Murcia is highlighted.
