Obviously, when speaking of smart cities concept applied to cities, it is inevitable to refer to the following:
- Public administrations whose objective is to offer new and better services.
- Citizens, instrumental in the development of the city.
- Energy efficiency and sustainability, led to a balance with the environment and natural resources.
- Information Technology and Communication (ICT) as a tool for supporting and facilitating the provision of services.
The objectives of the smart cities are none other than connecting citizens, sharing information and generating network.
By placing the citizen at the center of the exhibition, visitors will understand its inherent smartcitizen condition for belonging to the information society and live in a city like Murcia, in which ICT and data flow are continuously present.
