The IU-Greens candidate for mayor of Murcia, Sergio Ramos and Speaker of the training at City Hall, Esther Herguedas have claimed today the need to activate policies that can recover the garden of Murcia and the enhancement of their values cultural, historical, ecological and economic.

For Ramos, economic activation must be accompanied by a municipal bid to regain farms.
In this sense has proposed reducing the IBI for soils to maintain the farm, regardless of their classification, by applying bonuses of up to 90 percent permitted by law.
Along with this, it has raised the need to promote other tasks to economically activate the garden, as the implementation of a quality label for products, promotion of cooperatives and farming, and the recovery of traditional varieties of fruit and vegetables.
In addition, it has opted for the creation of a network of local markets for these products with institutional support and implementation of a program of orchards for rent or sale, in addition to reactivate the garden help alleviate the situation of people experiencing unemployment.
